Welcome to all who receive and read this newsletter. I hope all is well with you and your families! After last year’s elections and the beginning executive orders and proposed new laws of the new administration, things may look bleak for our pro-life hopes of any of abortion and our desires to pass laws protecting innocent, pre-born human life. But, there is a sure, true sense of hope in him who is “the way the truth and the life.”
Just as the good Monsignor Arnold Gaus liked to sing, “There is a Balm in Gilead.” That healing salve will heal the hurt and sting of temporary defeat. We know that the abortion minded mentality has taken control of the Federal Government, but it is our trust in a caring, providential God, who loves and has a plan for every person He has created, that trust is the balm in Gilead. And, it is that trust in God that will heal and save us.
Some detractors may try to suppress or change the truth by calling abortion a reproductive right or a woman’s choice, but the truth is that right or choice involves the ending of an innocent person‘s life, a life that is, human and unique, a living person. No one has the right to take a life, this is the natural law that God has written in our hearts. We must be faithful to His law. May God bless you and all your loved ones abundantly
